Q: How do I know if the fireplace will fit into my chimney breast opening or onto my wall?

A: All of our cast iron fireplaces and surrounds are listed with detailed measurements, including height, width, depth and, where applicable, minimum chimney breast opening size. Q: Do you have a showroom for your cast iron fireplaces?

A: To keep prices as low as possible for our customers, we operate only as an online business. While that means we don’t have a showroom, it does mean you get a genuine, beautifully restored antique cast iron fireplace for much less than you would pay elsewhere.

Q: How will I know if the fireplace is suitable for my home?

A: Use our helpful Guide to fireplace styles to help you work out which type of restored cast iron fireplace works for your home. As well as popular Victorian and Edwardian fireplaces, we stock Georgian, Reproduction and 20th Century styles. 

Q: Do you deliver cast iron fireplaces to my postcode?

A: We will courier the cast iron fireplaces to most parts of the UK but please check with us before your purchase if you live in a remote location such as the Scottish Highlands or Channel Islands.

Q: How much will delivery cost?

A: The cost of delivery is a flat fee of £70 per cast iron fireplace. For deliveries of more than one fireplace the delivery fee is £50 per item. Delivery is usually within 7-10 days of purchase.

Q: Will my fireplace be delivered safely?

A: We ensure all of our cast iron fireplaces are protective wrapped during transit. Our trusted courier takes great care with them. When delivering, they will carry your fireplace into your home and place it down in a location of your choice.

Q: Can I collect my cast iron fireplace in person?

A: If you prefer, your fireplace can be collected in person from our home address in Wilmslow, Cheshire (SK9 postcode) and we will assist with loading. We are located about 7 mins from M56 motorway at Manchester Airport. Please note, however, that we prefer to deliver to our customers as we are an online business.

Q: Do you install restored cast iron fireplaces?

A: We do not directly install fireplaces. If you are installing a fireplace for functional use, please ensure that you or your builder complies with HETAS and/or GAS SAFE regulations.

If your fireplace is purely for decorative purposes, these regulations do not apply.
